Large group of family or friends? A ‘tandem’ or Group Sailing Holiday is for you.

Holidays and time away from the 9-5 should be treasured. With everyone’s lives getting busier and busier we know how important time together is.

Often when booking your few days off a year, there are many aspects to consider, including who you travel with and where to go. Ultimately, you have to choose between different family and friendship groups leaving someone disappointed.

Once you have decided on a small group and a location then there is the difficult task of keeping everybody happy. We know how it is: Mum wants to sunbathe and read her book, Auntie Heather wants to scuba dive, cousin Neil wants to hike, Grandad wants to paint scenery with a sherry in hand, the twins Harry and Joseph want to create the biggest splashes and Dad just wants everyone to be happy (and for someone else to organise it!), oh and maybe do a little sailing?

We can accommodate larger groups onboard our luxury sailing yachts meaning that everyone can holiday together without sacrificing luxury or adventure. Each yacht sleeps up to 8 people, meaning if your family or friendship group is between 8 and 16 people a group sailing holiday is perfect for you. Sunbathing tick, Scuba Diving tick, Hiking tick…oh you get the picture!

Pssst. If the thought of holidaying with 14 other people sends shivers down your spine you can holiday with just two. Have a look at our other itineraries.

Your Itinerary

The start of your typical week aboard.

Day 1 - The Reunion.

Reunite with your friends and family in the beautiful Greek Islands.

Board your respective yachts and get settled into your cabin with a glass of fizz in hand.

Make sure you check out each others cabins too…you know you want to!

Take a trip to a beautiful vineyard to get your holiday started.

Day 2 - Sail Away.

Which yacht will be first to leave the marina?

Moor side by side in a beautiful bay whilst enjoying a breakfast prepared by your onboard chef.

Spend the afternoon sailing before anchoring next to each other in a traditional fishing village and dining ashore at a local taverna.

Aurous and Argentous

Day 3 - King of the ringo.

Today feels like the perfect opportunity to get out the water toys.

Paddle board races around the idyllic coastline and will anyone ever beat Grandad’s record on the ringo?

Enjoy some quiet times on your respective yachts whilst sailing to your next destination.

Long line next to each other and enjoy a peaceful dinner onboard.

Double the crew when you group sail

Day 4 - Double the crew.

Double the crew means double the knowledge and double the service.

Our crews know the best places to moor and will find the perfect spots for your family group.

With two tenders you can be whizzed to shore for dinner and drinks on the waterfront in no time.

Day 5 - Under the Sea.

Why not organise some rendezvous diving to make your family trip even more special.

Those who want to dive beneath the Ionian blue can be met onboard by a dive team and even brought back to your yacht.

It is not compulsory for everyone and those who stay behind can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of an afternoon swinging at anchor.

Argentous and Lunous on a family and friends trip

Day 6 - What a view.

There’s no better sight than watching your yacht swing gracefully as you watch from a waterside coffee shop or your spot on a deserted beach.

Actually…I tell a lie…

…watching two yachts is even better!

Day 7 - Make the most of it.

Your last full day on the water. Spend the morning comparing notes with your friends and family before deciding how you want to spend your last afternoon.

Sailing, Swimming, Snorkelling, Sightseeing, Shopping, Ringoing, Reading or all of the above.

Day 8 - Family Album.

Just the packing left to do this morning after another wonderful breakfast onboard.

Leave the yachts with many smiles, lots of lovely photographs and memories to add to your albums.

Why not make a photobook using your Vamoos app?
