South-Western areas

North-Western areas

Travelling in the northern-western part of Namibia, you find some more famous attractions. Drive via Spitzkoppe into Damaraland and visit Twyfelsfontein. An UNESCO World Heritage site, offering unique rock engravings. Some other stunning highlights are the Skeleton Coast and Etosha National Park. The Etosha National Park has the highest density of wildlife in all of Namibia. Including the “Big Five” and more than 130 other mammal species. For example, giraffes, zebras, hippos, various species of monkeys, wildebeests. Also, hyenas and wild dogs are seen in the national park.
