Located in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt coastal towns in the Western Cape, the Kommetjie House is just a short stroll from the delightfully rural and laid-back sands of Longbeach and her meander of local surfers, with spectacular sea and mountain views enjoyed from the house itself.

This sleepy village could be referred to as a "one horse town", with its small collection of restaurants, a food deli, a library, two churches, two pubs, one small superette and one garage, its homely atmosphere has been well-preserved; just how the locals like it.

The house is tastefully furnished and accommodates eight guests in four double bedrooms. For your convenience there are four bathrooms, of which three are en-suite.

The spacious and sunny living room is located on the first floor, it opens out onto the balcony which boasts coastal and mountain views. At the garden level a large double bedroom and TV room with DStv, enjoy garden access, where a solar-heated pool offers a refreshing retreat.

There is a garage for your car, and the house is very secure with an armed response link to Scarborough Security. Here your evenings will be best enjoyed having sundowners on the beach, while the kids play in the sand, before heading out to Expresso for their burger night special or calling the local pizza joint for a take away. Even in peak season when holiday resorts are bustling, Kommetjie is one of peaceful isolation.

Kommetjie House is a mere 40-minute scenic drive from Cape Town International Airport and vibrant V&A Waterfront. Nearby, golf at its best is available at Steenberg, Westlake and Clovelly golf clubs, while Longbeach Mall and it's collection of shops, supermarkets and medley of restaurants, is a quick fifteen minute drive down the road.

Note - included in the rental is a once weekly service, additional services are payable locally @ R240 per mid-week service. A credit of what is typically sufficient electricity is included but excessive use will require the meter topping up.
