Upon your arrival at Belize International Airport, you will be greeted with a warm Belizean welcome and transported by car to your first destination; Placencia, which is located on a long peninsula in Southern Belize. There is the option to stop en-route at the Belize Zoo, a zoo unlike any other; described as ‘porous’ in structure, the zoo and some of its enclosures offer a freedom to the animals which you don’t usually see. A great opportunity to see jaguar and tapir, two of the most iconic animals of Belize that are rarely seen in the wild. You will stay in a beautiful seafront villa with two swimming pools, a beach bar, restaurant and stunning surroundings.Accommodation

Belize is home to two species of monkey; howler and spider monkey, these of which you will see playfully swinging through the trees and along the river. This trip is great for wildlife watching and also to see life along the river, as many Belizeans live along the banks of Monkey River.
