Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Belize
You will be warmly greeted at the airport by one of our partners and transferred for a short local flight to Placencia in southern Belize. From here you will be collected by a driver and taken just a short journey to your first romantic beachfront hideaway. Enjoy a delicious welcome cocktail, kick off your shoes and relax by the sea! Tonight you will eat a candle lit dinner on the beach.
Day 2 - A day at leisure
Today you can spend the day at your leisure. Take time to enjoy your new surroundings. You are close to the vibrant village of Placencia, with all its restaurants, bars and shopping all of which can be accessed by strolling along the charming boardwalk. Have a beachfront massage, explore the coastline on paddle board or kayak or head inland for an adventure! Perhaps join in on a wine tasting session this evening at your hotel.
Day 3 - Adventure day
Today you will head out on a guided snorkeling day trip. Your day will be spent exploring the Belize Barrier Reef, the second largest in the world! Look out for turtles, dophins, rays and sharks! You will stop for a special picnic lunch picnic on a desert island. After a magical day, head back to your cabana and relax.
Day 4 - To the Jungle
Today you will be collected by your driver and driven into the jungle, with a stopover at the amazing Blue Hole National Park. You will visit the Inland Blue Hole for a refreshing dip and a chance to spot some wildlife. Your journey will take you to the Cayo District where you are staying in a stunning, tree house cabana in the jungle with your own private balcony overlooking the jungle and river below. After a welcome drink, take your time to relax together.
Day 5 - Day at leisure
You can spend today at your leisure. Take a stroll along one of the jungle trails and spot the local wildlife, paddle upstream and check out a butterfly sanctuary and stop off for a delicious lunch, or paddle downstream into the nearby town, San Ignacio. Relax by the pool and the bar or hop into a rubber ring to float downstream. Today is yours, enjoy!
Day 6 - Relax or adventure
Today you can choose to relax, enjoy any of the complimentary onsite activities or if you choose, we can arrange for you to take a tour of the nearby Maya sites, go horse riding, or explore some incredible caves. Just let us know how adventurous you’re feeling!
Day 7 - Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve
This morning you will be collected after breakfast and transported to your next jungle destination. This one will be quite different, as you move from broad-leaf rain forest to pine savanna. Your next hotel is absolutely stunning and you can indulge by relaxing with your own plunge pool, right on your doorstep! Watch the sunset over the ridge and enjoy the views from this elevated location.
Day 8 - Waterfall picnic
Today you will have a romantic picnic lunch at Big Rock Falls in a stunning, secluded setting. This waterfall is sensational and the perfect place to chill out and swim.
Day 9 - Relax or adventure
Today you can choose to relax at the lodge, head out on a walk, go birding or if you are feeling more adventurous, there are caves and more waterfalls nearby to explore and of course, Belize’s largest Maya site, Caracol, is only about 2 hours away. Tonight you will have an idyllic dinner by the riverside with a bottle of champagne.
Day 10 - Onwards to Ambergris Caye
Today you will transfer to your final romantic hideaway on Ambergris Caye. Your hotel offers you a charming, romantic room with uninterrupted sea views. You are ideally placed to watch the sunrise over the Belize Barrier reef, which you can see from your doorstep! Take out a kayak and paddle the coast or a bicycle to a nearby beach bar for a drink. Tonight you will dine on the beach with a romantic area set for just the two of you.
Day 11 - Catamaran Adventure
After breakfast, you will head out for a memorable day trip, exploring nearby snorkeling sites by boat, including a Belizean buffet with fresh ceviche on a desert beach and a beautiful sunset over the water. This is a truly romantic experience and one to treasure together.
Day 12 - Last day in paradise
Spend today as you wish; relax and soak up some last rays, have a seafront massage, head out on a boat excursion or paddle around the waters. Indulge on freshly caught lobster and toast a fabulous trip as you eat your last dinner at a candle lit table on the beach.
