First you’ll experience the bustling Mexico City and ruins of Teotihuacán and Xochimilco canals (Mexico’s Venice),  we transport to Oaxaca to eat your bodyweight in mole.

You’ll then head to the pacific coast where we have a variety of beach side hotels in a few beach locations on this coast. Once we have discussed your requirements we will chose the perfect one to suit your needs. You can be sure that you’ll  relax on the beach and watch the most beautiful sunsets with a cocktail in hand.

Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Mexico City

Once you arrive at the Mexico City International Airport you will be transferred to a hotel located downtown. Since there are no scheduled activities in the afternoon, you can enjoy a walk in the area. We can book you one of the many epic restaurants or you can freestyle and eat all of the tacos and tostadas the markets have to offer.

Day 2 - Mexico City

A Mexico City Tour will help you acclimatise. Some sites to visit are the National Palace, Zocalo Square, Metropolitan Cathedral, the Anthropology Museum (which presents the country’s many pre-Hispanic civilisations: Toltecs – Zapotecs) and the world famous Guadalupe Shrine.

Day 3 - Fridas Blue House and Xochimilco Canals

Today you can visit Frida’s Blue House and museum. We suggest doing this in the morning to beat the queues! This is a beautiful area to walk around and explore, perhaps grabbing lunch in the square.

Later you can visit the Xochimilco canals, “the Venice of Mexico,” on one of it’s its colorful trajineras (tourist boats), eating Mexican food and being serenaded by mariachi bands.

Day 4 - Teotihuacan

Today we will depart to the Archeological site of Teotihuacan where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the area from the top of the pyramids (or a hot air balloon if that takes your fancy!) and spend the afternoon exploring the city.

Day 5 - Oaxaca

Today you will take a flight to Oaxaca.

Day 6 - Oaxaca

Oaxaca is known  for its culinary delights, you will be taken  on a food tour where you  taste the many mole sauces and mezcals this region has to offer. You will then also have the option to select fresh produce with a local chef and cook your own dinner.

Day 7 - Monte Alban

Today you will visit Monte Alban and then you’ll have an afternoon to explore the beautiful streets of Oaxaca.

Monte Albán, an ancient Zapotec archaeological site in Mexico, offers a captivating journey into pre-Columbian history. Explore majestic pyramids, intricate stone carvings, and sprawling plazas atop a scenic mountain. Marvel at the grandeur of Mesoamerican civilization while taking in panoramic views of the Oaxaca Valley—a must-visit for history and archaeology enthusiasts.

Day 8 - Hierve el Agua

Today you will visit Hierve el Agua which are petrified waterfalls set on the edge of a cliff overlooking the mountainous landscape. Later you can continue to sample the Oaxacan culinary delights.

Day 9 - Oaxaca - Coast

Start the day having breakfast at the hotel restaurant and prepare yourself to depart to the pacific coast. We have a range of beautiful beachside accommodation where you can relax, depending on the season you can release turtles in the ocean and watch the most stunning Mexican sunsets.

Day 10 - Oaxaca - Coast

Day at leisure – you can discuss the many options for water sports and adventures with you Mexico Travel Specialist.

Day 11 - Oaxaca - Coast

Day at leisure.

Day 12 - Home

Today you travel home, with bronzed skin and full of memories and stories.
