Day 1 - Welcome to Nomade Tulum

Your driver will greet you at Cancun airport and transport you to your boutique hotel Nomade Tulum.

Nômade Tulum is located at the southernmost tip of the Riviera Maya on a stretch of white sand and turquoise water that borders the dense Yucatan jungle. Today, the rugged, pristine coastal region is home to some of Mexico’s best preserved ruins, mystical cenotes, underwater caves, and the largest protected coastal area in Mexico, the Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve.

They envision systems that create balance between the innate human experience and the natural world. Their architectural structures are designed to preserve the integrity of the environment. They have profound respect for the land upon which they built the hotel. It is inspired by the local heritage and histories of the site. The hotel embodies local culture but also the ancient traditions and forgotten wisdom of the region.

Pre-Columbian people called Tulum “the city of dawn” as it was the southwestern most point of the Mayan empire and the first place touched by the rising sun. Deep cerulean pools and underwater caves called cenotes were believed to be an entrance into the underworld.

Day 2 - Tulum

In a world where so many of our interactions are shaped by technology, our bodies and minds ache for genuine connection with our communities and the natural world.

They have curated a series of activities, ceremonies and gatherings to get you out of your head, away from your phone, into your body and in touch with an unrushed, grounded and peaceful way of living. Meet fellow travelers, the real people you share breakfast with, and connect over some of the activities. Grab one of their Nômade book club gems and get inspired. Enjoy the gratitude tent, the nest and yoga shala and tune out to tune in.

They celebrate the rich heritage of this ancient culture with ceremonies, rituals, traditional cuisine and seasonal programming that highlights the sacred wisdom of this land. They wish for Tulum to remain a unique paradise, where the magic, culture and mystique of the ancient Maya can be witnessed and felt.

Day 3 - Tulum

They understand food does not begin on the plate—but on the land, with the farmers who grow, harvest, compost, fertilize and contribute to a conscious food system. The future of food culture extends far beyond offering good food in a beautiful ambiance—rather it is rooted in the fact that we can change the social and environmental impact we make with each bite.

At Nômade Tulum, the approach to food is a regenerative program that allows them to establish a sustainable future for food, hone in organic and nutritious ingredients, and collaborate with local communities in the region.

They have an alliance with Mestiza de Indias, a tropical regenerative agriculture project that aims to recover native species and combat the harmful effects of Mexico’s agrochemical industry.
