This remarkable oasis, fed by a vital spring, is a vibrant tapestry of rich forests and diverse agriculture. Once a land of abundant palm trees, it has gracefully transitioned to lush olive groves, sustained by modern irrigation that nurtures thriving market gardens.
The walk starts at the biggest argan tree in the region. You will walk across fields and gardens towards the mausoleum of Saint Sidi Bourahmoune. The journey then leads you to a captivating vantage point, offering a stunning panoramic view of the entire oasis, stretching right to the very spring itself. Keep an eye out—you might even spot a local stone mason skillfully carving millstones for argan oil extraction!
To round off, you’ll pass by a basket maker and see how he expertly weaves with rushes. They will serve a traditional tea there.
The package includes:
Transfer with English speaking driver
Flexible pace and stops
Mint tea
Half-day Guided Tour
