This trip is completely unique and involves staying in 3 different Moroccan tents over 5 nights. It offers an intense insight into the Berber life of Morocco and also will see you enjoying the ultimate luxury hotel experience in the Atlas Mountains.
Tented accommodation plays a strong role in traditional Arabic and Berber culture, born out of a nomadic history and during this itinerary, you’ll experience a small slice of Moroccan history.
This trip concentrates on proximity to Marrakech and is ideal for those who prefer more rural locations.
It starts with two nights at Villa Dinari which is around 30mins from the airport.
After that, we will transfer you to the Agafay Desert, where you can enjoy an overnight stay in a luxury glamping tent.
Finally, unwind in the serenity of Kasbah Africa, nestled at the foothills of the mountains.
Arrive at Marrakech airport where your driver will meet you and take you straight to Villa Dinari. Around 30 minutes from the centre it is set in beautiful gardens around a fabulous pool and, best of all, you sleep in smart “Arabian Nights” tents (although in many ways they are incredibly like hotel rooms with air-conditioning and en suite bathrooms.)
Relax by the pool after your journey or take a trip into the centre of Marrakech to visit the souks.
Tent Note: These are based on Caidal Tents which were traditionally set up in the gardens of rich Moroccans’ villas for accommodating and entertaining visiting dignitaries. They are traditionally white fabric with dark leather applied to both decorate and strengthen.
Treat yourself to an invigorating massage or a chilled out Hammam session to unwind, relax and feel amazing. Let the pros work their magic, melting away all that stress and leaving you feeling like a brand-new person.
Afterward, grab a bite at a dope café and dig into some tasty, healthy Moroccan fare that’ll make your taste buds sing.
Get your chef game on with a cookery lesson that’ll have you whipping up delicious dishes like a local.
Learn the tricks of the trade from a chef and create mouthwatering meals that’ll impress your friends back home!
Once you’ve conquered the kitchen, take a short drive to the old town and get lost in its charming streets.
Explore the historical buildings, soak up the vibes, and uncover some charming hidden spots along the way.
After lunch, it’s time to change the scenery to a more dramatic one.
Just an hour away, you will find yourself in the boundless Agafay Desert.
You’ll have the chance to go for a camel ride and take a walk with the blue men (nomad people who wear blue clothing) in the heart of AGAFAY Marrakech Desert. For those who prefer adventure, we can suggest Quad and Buggy rides. Alternatively, you can simply relax by the pool (yes, there is a pool!)
The accommodation for the night is another glamping tent where you’ll find everything you need for your comfort: a king-size bed, a lounge area, and a separate bathroom with a hot shower and toilet.
Following your night in the Agafay desert, you’ll rendezvous with your driver and make the short trip to Kasbah Africa.
Here you will stay in your third tent, located above the Azzaden river, below Kasbah Africa’s pool, at the unique Sky Dome. Truly luxurious glamping experience in a private mountain setting.
We suggest you arrive for lunch.
After all, you are going to have to go some to replace all the calories. You will sleep like a log.
“Asounfou,” the Berber word for relaxation.
You’ve come on holiday to relax, haven’t you? Lounging by the pool and soaking up the sun is a good start.
In the afternoon, we recommend a cooking class or a leisurely walk to discover the beauty of the Azzaden Valley.
In the evening, enjoy stargazing! Kasbah Africa is equipped with a tripod-mounted telescope and a planisphere to help you identify stars and constellations. With dark skies, you might even spot shooting stars – a perfect way to end the day!
Your driver will collect you for the short trip back to the airport and your flight home.
We guarantee that the memories and experiences will leave you both invigorated and relaxed… and also you will feel that you have been away a lot longer than 5 nights.
