The par 71, 6,900 yard Royal St Kitts Golf Club is close to several hotels including the Sugar Bay Club and offers 125 irrigated acres of lush grounds for its 18 holes. There are two full holes next to the Caribbean and three overlooking the Atlantic. Designed by Thomas McBroom, the course’s back nine holes are ‘links style’
Obstacles include some 12 lakes and 83 bunkers and the course also boasts practice bunkers, putting greens, a short-game chipping area and a driving range.
The Royal St Kitts Golf Club offers special rates for Twilight Special (after noon) and Super Twilight Special (after 2pm) rounds.
On sister island Nevis, the Four Seasons Resort operates the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones II course, which begins by climbing a mountain then wandering through the rainforest before finishing along the sea.
