Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Rio!
Land in Rio de Janeiro where you will be met by your private driver and English speaking guide who will take you by private car to the Fasano Hotel. The Fasano brand of hotels is one of the most prestigious in Brazil. The flagship Rio hotel is synonymous with excellent service and the elegance of interior designer Philippe Starck. Indulge in the luxury of your surroundings and great location near upmarket Ipanema beach.
Day 2 - Sailing in Rio
Today you will enjoy a romantic outing as you sail in Guanabara Bay. Rio’s beauty between the sea and the lush hills, will open up in front of you and reveal all its secrets as a view of the city from the ocean is undoubtedly the best way to appreciate this stunning setting. Private return transfers to the boarding are also included. As you have admired Rio from the sea why not add a helicopter ride to see the city from a different perspective?
Day 3 - Private tour of Corcovado and Sugarloaf
One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the magnificent Christ the Redeemer, the iconic statue on top of Corcovado Hill, is Rio’s most famous landmark. The Corcovado Hill is part of the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world. This morning you will be picked up by your private guide and taken on a tour to this wonderful site. Once on the top of Corcovado Hill, you will be able to admire breath taking views of Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and the Botanical Gardens. On this tour you will also visit the famous Pão de Açúcar (Sugarloaf Mountain), an iconic symbol of the city. Its name was given due to the resemblance to the traditional shape of a refined sugar loaf. You will take two glass cable cars to reach the top and from here you will have amazing 360 degree views of the whole city.
Day 4 - Day at leisure
Today is free for you to enjoy as you wish. Make the most of the beach and soak up the famous Brazilian sunshine. If you feel like exploring further, we suggest visiting the charming Santa Teresa district and have lunch at Aprazivel, a beautiful restaurant with an even more stunning view of the city. Or if you feel like going more local, a feijoada (typical Brazilian dish) at Bar dos Mineiros is a must! Whatever you do during the day, don’t forget to take a walk on Arpoador hill just around the corner from your hotel and witness the beautiful sunset followed by a few cocktails at Fasano whilst relaxing in the infinity pool. From here you have one of the best views in the whole city!
Day 5 - Rio de Janeiro to Angra dos Reis
This morning you will be taken by private car to Angra dos Reis, 160 kms south of Rio. Fasano Angra dos Reis is another sophisticated addition to the Fasano brand in 2017. Here you will enjoy excellent service and stunning scenery making the hotel the perfect place to relax and find peace. It extends over Angra dos Reis marina with easy access to the beach and beautiful views of one of Brazil’s most stunning bays.
Days 6 and 7 - Days at leisure in Angra dos Reis
We have left two days at leisure for you to spend as you wish and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. However, you are at the doorstep of one of the country’s most beautiful setting and we can add boat excursions to the nearby islands if you feel like exploring!
Dat 8 - Flight to Florianopolis and land transfer to Ponta dos Ganchos
Today you will be taken by private car to Rio’s airport to catch your flight to Florianopolis in southern Brazil. Once landed you will be met and driven to your exclusive resort, Ponta dos Ganchos.
Days 9 and 10 - Relax in the spectacular surroundings of Ponta dos Ganchos
These two days are all about you relaxing and enjoying the romantic surroundings of this exclusive resort. Set in a private peninsula it has its own private sandy beach caressed by crystal clear blue water!
Day 11 - Departure
Your romantic Brazil honeymoon has come to an end, after feeling pampered and having witnessed the best of Brazilian hospitality and natural beauty. We have included your final transfer to the airport for you onward flight.
