Yoga in Kerala

Your Itinerary

Today you will take an international flight to Cochin. Your flight is most likely to leave in the afternoon/evening and arrive the following morning.

On arrival at Cochin airport you will be met by your driver who will transfer you to the beautiful property Coconut Lagoon on the backwaters. You will have the rest of the day at leisure before an evening group meditation session.

Your day will start with a group morning yoga session followed by breakfast. After this you will enjoy a visit of the nearby paddy fields for a spot of bird watching. This evening there is the option for another group mediation session, which lasts around 30 minutes.

Today will be very relaxing and is up to you to spend as you wish. A morning group yoga session and evening group meditation will take place as well as an hour introduction to Ayurveda treatments by a doctor.

Again you will start your day with a group yoga session. A healthy breakfast will then set you up for a walk along the big canal taking in the beautiful sights along the way. Enjoy a cooking session with one of the fantastic chefs this afternoon and finish the day with another group meditation class.

This is your final morning on the backwaters and last morning yoga session at Coconut Lagoon. From here you will travel to Spice Village, a perfect base for exploring the Periyar National Park. The journey here is beautiful and you will have the opportunity to stop and take in the varied landscape. Relax on arrival and enjoy an evening at your leisure.

Today your guide will take you on a jungle trek to give you the opportunity to explore the abundance of flora and fauna . Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

This morning you can take part in a group yoga session before breakfast. Afterwards, you will visit a local spice plantation and explore a number of exotic spices growing in their natural habitat such as cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, pepper and cacao. Later this evening you can then have a chance to see how some of these spices are used in traditional Indian cooking with an evening cooking demonstration at your hotel.

Begin with a healthy breakfast and early morning group yoga session today before your journey to the golden sands of  Marari Beach. Enjoy a group mediation session this evening as you settle in to your beach-side property.

Today is free for you to spend as you wish. We recommend watching the fisherman head out to sea in their traditional vessels as they do every day after sunrise. It is a beautiful, and very traditional Keralan experience.

After your morning group yoga session today you might like to take one of the bikes around the nearby villages exploring local life in the area. A farewell seafood lunch will be provided at the property today and this evening you can enjoy another group mediation session.

Enjoy your final yoga and mediation session today and perhaps relax on the beach to ensure you are fully rested before heading home.

After a lovely healthy breakfast your driver will transport you to the airport for your flight home.
