A trip to Chile should be taken at least once in your life, as this country is truly mesmerising! This itinerary idea covers all the highlights, including the mystical Easter Island. One of the remotest places on earth, Rapa Nui is an exotic island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean but don’t think of it as a beach destination as there are only a handful of sandy expanses where you can relax. The pull of this tiny speckle of land is its history and mysticism.

Combine it with South America’s most famous National Park and Patagonia’s jewel in the crown, the picture perfect lake region, and the moon like landscapes of the Atacama and you have yourself a true once in your life holiday!

Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Santiago!

Today you will arrive in Santiago where a private transfer will take you to your hotel.

Accommodation in Bellavista neighbourhood where you will spend 3 nights in a standard room with daily breakfast.

On today’s excursion we will explore the historical and modern sights of Santiago de Chile. You will visit La Moneda, you will walk along avenidas Huérfanos and Ahumada, where the main commercial activity of the city is concentrated. The famous main square of the city called Plaza de Armas, which is surrounded by the Metropolitan Cathedral and other historical buildings will also be part of the highlights.

Santiago is also a city of hills so you will go up Santa Lucia and San Cristóbal Hills, the latter being the highest in town, in the middle of the Metropolitan Park. You will go up the hill to explore the surroundings while enjoying beautiful panoramic views of the city. Finally, you will visit Providencia with its top restaurants, elegant shops and modern high-rise buildings.

Day 3 - Full day Matetic vineyards and Valparaiso (private)

As part of this excursion, you will enjoy a tasting at one of the many boutique wineries that are part of this flourishing wine route.

The journey will then continue to Valparaíso, the oldest and most important port of Chile. Valparaíso’s picturesque layout is enhanced by the surrounding hills that seem to dive into the ocean, reminding us that this was once the most important maritime destination of the Pacific coast before the Strait of Panama was opened to navigation in 1914. Last but not least you will visit the La Sebastiana Museum, a place of inspiration for the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda.

Day 4 - Fly to Easter Island

After breakfast, get ready to leave Santiago. A private transfer will take you to the Airport for your flight to Easter Island.
