Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Saigon!
Welcome to the modern metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon). You will be driven to Villa Song by a private chauffeur, where you will be spending the night. Enjoy your evening at leisure as you recover from the long flight – if you would like a driver on hand this evening we can happily arrange that. (Sanctuary Room).
Day 2 - Explore the city and war tunnels
This morning you will be driven to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, More than 200 km of tunnels were built here by the Vietnamese guerrillas, where they lived and fought during the American War. You can explore the bedrooms, meeting rooms, smokeless kitchens, and experience a unique underground world. In the afternoon, take a tour of the city and visit the War Remnant Museum before finishing with a cocktail on a rooftop bar.
Day 3 - Head to the beach at Mui Ne
This morning you will be driven to the fabulous beach destination of Mui Ne. Your private transfer will take four to five hours, but the beach is more than worth it. One of Vietnam’s sleepier beach towns, you will be rewarded with wide sandy shores, delicious seafood and a picture perfect resort. We love the cosy beach bungalows at Mia Resort, which spill out onto the beach and ocean beyond. (Sara House Garden Room)
Days 4 - 7 - Relax on the beach
Enjoy four full days at the beach relaxing and soaking up the sand, surf and sea. Mia has a fantastic restaurant so you may not wish to stray too far but there are plenty of other lovely dining options and bars around. You may also wish to take an excursion to the impressive red and white sand dunes of Mui Ne, where you can even attempt sand sledding. Mui Ne is also renowned for its kite-surfing.
Day 8 - Travel to the island of Phu Quoc
After breakfast, you will be driven back to Ho Chi Minh City to catch a flight to Phu Quoc, a tropical island that belongs to Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand. Here you will check into Cassia Cottages, a relaxed cluster of upmarket beach huts set in pretty manicured gardens with direct beach access. We have nothing planned for you here so you can relax and dig your bare feet into the soothing sand. (Modern Premium Room).
Days 9 - 13 - Relax on the beautiful island of Phu Quoc
Phu Quoc is our favourite beach destination in all of Vietnam and you can take five whole days here to relax, unwind and soak up the beautiful surroundings. It has a lovely long beach down its west coast, parts of which are completely undeveloped and beautifully preserved. In the evening lanterns are strung up around the tables in the sand, where you can enjoy fabulous seafood.
Day 14 - Bon Voyage
Today we will fly you back to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) where you can catch your international flight home. Safe travels!

This itinerary costs from £2,000 per person B&B based on 2 sharing and including all private transfers but not international flights.
You can get flights from as little as £500 per person return and do ask us for advice. Alternatively we can book the flights for you but a booking fee may apply.
