Day 1 - Benvenuto!
You will start your trip by staying in the historic centre of the Langhe, Alba. Your home for the next couple of days is a charming converted farmhouse, just a stone’s throw from the picturesque cathedral and 10km from the Castle of Grinzane Cavour. You can rent bikes free of charge at the hotel and enjoy exploring the medieval town.Accommodation
Day 2 - Land of food & wine
After a leisurely morning spent by the pool, you will visit a local winery where you will learn all about the history and the production process of wine making. Following this education in wine, you will have the opportunity to prepare five traditional dishes, with help of your chef, Matteo! You will then sit down to enjoy the fruits of your labour, paired with wine from the surrounding vineyards.
Day 3 - Under your own steam
Today is free for you to explore Piedmont under your own steam. It is a good opportunity to really get under the skin of Alba. You will also be moving onto a more rural location – the beautiful Relais Villa D’Amelia. This 18th Century former estate boasts stunning grounds and a range of facilities. The surrounding area of Benevello is accessible by walking or cycling…and is a great place to explore local shops, festivals and wine cellars.Accommodation
