This is a small family-run hotel, opened by husband and wife, Elena and Bruno. They named the hotel after Elena’s great grandmother, Radegonda Oberta, who grew up in the house. The couple have lovingly restored each room to a very high standard, ensuring they maintain a level of authenticity, whilst also creating a luxurious retreat for their guests. Every attention to detail has been considered, which really does make all the difference.

The hotel does not have a full restaurant, but the fantastic daily breakfast contains chosen specialities of the region. It is perhaps a blessing that dinner in is not an option here, as there are a wealth of first-class eateries on your doorstep; including a famous Michelin-starred restaurant just a short walk away...
The lounge opens from 5pm and is the perfect place to enjoy a local glass of wine from the cellar and some tasty snacks (they do lovely charcuterie boards). The bar is also open from 7pm - until late (depending on demand).

Corte Gondina is based in La Morra, a stunning medieval village that boarders Alba, Barolo, Bra, Castiglione Falletto, Cherasco, Narzole, Roddi, and Verduno. Could you think of a better haven from which to explore these regions? Take a drive to the gourmet capital of Alba, where you can marvel at the wonderful architecture and churches, before stopping for a spot of lunch in the main square. Or, head to the top of the Monfalletto hill and behold the famous Lebanese Cedar Tree - a majestic sight it itself, from which you can also explore the surrounding Nebbiolo vineyards.

After a busy day exploring the sights, sounds and smells of Piedmont, relax in the spa with one of their signature experiences. Or, during the summer, take a dip in their outdoor pool.

Each bedroom is decorated in a different style and they all have air-conditioning, a minibar, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi.
