Mauritius is a small island with excellent roads and highways, making it easy to travel around. It’s a perfect place to base yourself in one location and take day trips to explore the island.
All of our holidays include private, personalized airport greet and transfers to and from your hotel in air conditioned vehicles. We can also arrange all of your excursions via private drivers for the ultimate personalized and stress-free holiday. All of our drivers are english-speaking, extremely knowledgable and can assist you with any requests.
Car hire is possible (Mauritians drive on the left side of the road). However, unless you plan to do extensive exploring each day, this may be more hassle than it’s worth.
If you’re staying on the west and north coast, several hotels offer shuttle service to neighboring towns of Flic-en-Flac and Grand Baie (or are conveniently located to local bus service) if you’d like to explore the nearby towns and beaches. Many resorts offer bicycle rentals if you want to explore the lovely terrain and villages around your hotel.
