Day 4 - Ubud Exploration and Semana High Tea
After breakfast, at 08.30 hrs you will be picked up from your Resort to embark on an Ubud Village exploration. First, we will drive towards Goa Gajah or also known as the Elephant Cave which is a significant Hindu archaeological site with close proximity to the Elephant River.
On the way to Ubud, we will stop at Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a nature reserve temple complex and a small rain forest dwelt by some group of long-tailed Macaques/monkeys and other tropical animals. It’s contains the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal temple as well as a “Holy Spring” bathing temple. Proceed to Pura Saraswati Temple and water garden, which was built at the end of the 19th century and named after the Hindu goddess of art and learning “Dewi Saraswati”. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Afterwards, drive to Semana Village, where the luxurious tent for the picnic is set up in a secluded spot surrounded by tropical palm trees and lush greenery. The Experience also includes a short scenic trek to the picnic spot. Savor in the beauty and tranquility while enjoying your picnic cum high tea with a lavish menu comprising gourmet canapés, freshly squeezed fruit juices, premium quality tea and mineral water. Our butler is on hand to cater to your every need.
Should you wish to ease your tired feet a therapist is on hand to massage them with a soothing footbath of natural essence that includes lime, sea salt and flower petals. Soak in the sunshine while enjoying the foot massage along the Ayung River. There are other activities to liven up the afternoon – a 30-minute yoga session facing the sun conducted by an experienced teacher, and an invigorating body massage in the open so you can enjoy the fresh air while relaxing under the soothing hands of the masseur. Picnic ends around evening, when the sun is setting, and you are transported back to your hotel.
