Hi, I’m Amy — Dutch explorer, experience curator, and lover of wild places, warm people, and good food with a bit of spice.
Travel has always been part of my story. My dad used to return from faraway places with tales of tropical jungles and bustling markets, and I’d sit wide-eyed, dreaming of going myself. Not long after, I did — and I never really stopped.
I’ve lived, worked, and wandered across the world — from Asia to Africa to Latin America — studying in Shanghai, interning in Jakarta, visiting family in South Africa and Canada, and travelling through countless cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. After two decades working in emerging markets, I now do what I love most: helping others design journeys that are meaningful, adventurous, and uniquely theirs.
Two places in particular have shaped me as a traveller — and keep calling me back:
Malaysia & Borneo – My very first study trip took me here, and it sparked a lifelong love for Southeast Asia. I’ve returned many times since, staying for extended periods to explore its rich mix of cultures, lush jungles, mouthwatering cuisine, and those beaches. There’s a warmth to the people and a rhythm to daily life that always feels like coming home.
Canada – With family living there, I’ve spent a lot of time exploring this vast and wild country. From the Rockies to the Atlantic coast, I’m drawn to its wide-open landscapes, abundant wildlife, and the deep-rooted stories of First Nations and Indigenous communities that give the land its soul.
I love travelling with my own family — especially now that my children are teenagers — re-discovering the world through their eyes. It’s one of the greatest joys of travel. But I don’t just create trips for families or multi-generational families. I also design unforgettable journeys for couples, solo travellers, and friends — anyone looking to explore beyond the obvious.
Always authentic, always thoughtful. Think boutique stays, local gems, immersive experiences, and a healthy dose of adventure — whether that’s hiking, kayaking, wildlife spotting, exploring vibrant food tours, or just getting wonderfully lost in a new city. I believe travel should be authentic, personal, and sustainable — rooted in real experiences, built around your unique interests, and created with care for the people and places we visit. That’s the heart of every journey I design: meaningful, adventurous, and entirely your own.
Let’s create something unforgettable — together. Enquire here for a journey to Malaysia, Borneo, Singapore or Canada.

Swap the big-name hotels for hidden gems with heart: think family-run stays, local guides who know every shortcut, and tiny eateries where grandma’s cooking steals the show. You’ll get richer stories, deeper connections — and every pound you spend supports the people who truly make the place magical. It’s travel that feels good, does good, and stays with you long after you’re home.
