Day 1 - Welcome to Windhoek

Upon arrival at Windhoek International airport you pick up your rental vehicle. A short drive takes you to Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. Explore the city of Windhoek, a city of many contrasts.

Day 2 - The Namib Desert

After breakfast the road takes you through the mountains of the Khomas Hochland into the low plains of the Namib Desert to a lodge in the Sossusvlei area, from where you will have excellent opportunities to explore the area.

The Namib Desert is commonly referred to as the world’s oldest desert.

Day 3 - Sossusvlei Dunes

Today we recommend an early morning rise for a visit to the Sossusvlei dunes. The park gates open at dawn and the golden light just after sunrise is perfect for photographs.

Sossusvlei is possibly Namibia’s most spectacular and best-known attraction. After exploring all that Sossusvlei and Deadvlei have to offer, drive to the Sesriem Canyon.

Day 4 - Swakopmund

The route today takes you to Swakopmund. Highlights en route include a drive to the „Moon Landscape” and the ancient desert plant, “Welwitschia mirabilis”.

Where the desert dunes sweep down to the ocean on Namibia’s western flank, lies this charming seaside village.

Day 5 - Explore Swakopmund

Activities we suggest for the coming day is a Living Desert Tour or a dolphin cruise (not included in the travel price). Have seals swim up to your boats looking for something to eat, all whilst pods of Heaviside and Bottlenose Dolphins swim alongside the boat.

The desert tour is a unique 4×4 adventure, which specializes in bringing the desert to life.  while sharing the awesome beauty of the Namib Desert.

Day 7 & 8 - Sesriem Canyon

After breakfast you leave Swakopmund and drive along the Atlantic Coast to the Twyfelfontein area. Spend two nights at Camp Kipwe, offering breath-taking views across the Aba Huab valley.

Spend your days exploring the Sossusvlei and the Sesriem Canyon.

2 overnights at Camp Kipwe on a Full-Board Basis plus 2 activities

Day 9 & 10 - Etosha National Park

Today you head via Kamanjab to the Southern side of the Etosha National Park. You will spend the next 2 nights at Etosha Safari Lodge. You will spend the next 2 nights at the beautiful Etosha Safari Lodge, perched on a hill with expansive views, this stylish lodge offers 65 chalets that provide a peaceful base from which to explore the animal bounty of Etosha National Park.

Location: 10 km south of Andersson Gate on the C 38 (Etosha National Park).

Day 11 & 12 - North-Eastern Etosha

Today you travel east through Etosha National Park and leave the Park through the eastern gate of Etosha to Onguma Bush Camp.

The Dream Cruiser is Onguma’s newest and most unique under the stars sleep-out experience. Arriving in time to enjoy sundowners and take a tour of your overnight accommodation, this sleep out in the wilderness of the reserve is on our custom built Land Cruiser, featuring a full bathroom on the lower deck and a bedroom with lounge area on the upper deck.

Day 13 - Back to Windhoek

Your adventurous tour is slowly coming to an end. Return today towards Windhoek, you will spend your last night in Namibia in Olive Grove. Take some time to stroll through the famous Okahandja Woodcarvers Market, a good place to pick out a last souvenir.

Day 14 - Time to say goodbye ...

Drive to the International Airport of Windhoek for check-in on your outbound flight.
