Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Egypt

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will welcome you and assist you with the entry process before escorting you to your hotel in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Your guide will assist you to ensure a smooth check-in and will then review your holiday itinerary with you to confirm pick-up times for each tour and answer all your questions.

Overnight in Cairo at Marriott Mena House in a Double Room with pyramid view. Enjoy the beauty of the pyramids from your own bedroom!

Day 2 - Giza Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, you will be accompanied by your personal guide to Giza Plateau to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. Then, you will have a chance to visit the world-famous  newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum.

Day 3 - Explore the rock- cut temples of Abu Simbel

Early in the morning, you will be privately transferred to Cairo airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. On arrival, you will be met by a private guide who will take you to discover the majestic temples of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari.  You will then fly to Aswan and be transferred to your luxurious historical hotel for the night, the wonderful Old Cataract.

Day 4 - Embark your Dahabiya sailboat

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will embark your lovely Dahabiya Sailboat. After lunch on board, sail along the Nile and visit the temple of Kom Ombo.

The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period on the site of an older temple and at one of the most beautiful locations, on a bend on the river. The temple was dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-headed god. After enjoying the temple, you will visit the new Crocodile Museum, which contains many mummified crocodiles, attesting to the importance the creature played in this region in ancient times.

Day 5 - Nile discovery: Edfu temple or Esna Temple

A visit to Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, offers a captivating glimpse into ancient Egyptian religion and architecture. As you approach by boat along the Nile, the massive pylon gates rise majestically above the riverbank. Inside, well-preserved hieroglyphs and carvings depict epic battles between Horus and Seth, vividly retelling mythological tales. The temple’s symmetry and scale create a sense of divine grandeur, while the inner sanctuaries still echo with ancient rituals.

Or alternatively, you will make a visit to Esna Temple, dedicated to the ram-headed god Khnum. It reveals the exquisite artistry of Egypt’s later dynasties. Hidden below street level in modern Esna, the temple’s towering columns are adorned with intricate lotus and papyrus carvings, each bursting with color and symbolism. The ceiling still bears traces of its original vivid paintings, restored to show celestial scenes and ancient deities.

Day 6 - Sail the Timeless Nile

Continue your tranquil sailing journey along the majestic Nile, taking in the picturesque vistas of rural Egyptian life unfolding along the riverbanks. Watch farmers tending their fields, fishermen casting their nets, and villages nestled amid lush greenery. The landscape transforms into a living painting of sugar cane plantations, banana groves, and graceful date palms swaying in the breeze. As you cross the Esna Lock, marvel at the engineering that allows ships to navigate the Nile’s varying levels. Enjoy a relaxing lunch on board while sailing onward toward Luxor, surrounded by the timeless beauty and serenity of Egypt’s fertile heartland.

Day 7 - Luxor discovery by air and land

Start your day with an unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor’s West Bank. As the sun rises, marvel at panoramic views of the Nile, desert landscapes, and ancient temples from the sky. Floating gently above the Valley of the Kings and surrounding villages, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for stunning photos and a truly magical perspective on this historic region. After landing, enjoy a light breakfast before beginning your exploration of Luxor’s treasures.

Next, visit the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of Pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, and many others. Walk through elaborately decorated tombs adorned with intricate hieroglyphics and vivid murals depicting the Pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife. Your guide will bring the stories and symbolism of these ancient masterpieces to life.

Afterward, continue to the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most impressive temple sites in the world. Stroll through colossal pylons, towering obelisks, and massive statues while learning about the history and religious significance of this ancient Egyptian wonder.

Get transferred to Hurghada for some beach time.

Day 8, 9 - Sun and beach at the red sea

Day at leisure to explore Hurghada and the Red Sea. This area boasts a number of superb beaches and it’s known for its fantastic coral reefs and sea life.

If you feel active, there are many things to do at the Red Sea such as diving, snorkelling, submarine excursion, water sports, desert safari, gorgeous evening walk along the promenade, bowling, shopping etc.

Day 10 - Safe travels!

After your delicious breakfast, you will be picked up by your personal assistant and privately driven to the airport in Hurghada where to your flight back home. Safe travels!

Cairo
Cairo, the Capital of Egypt with a total population in excess of 16 million people is where we would suggest you would begin and end your Egypt holiday. This metropolitan city is one of the largest in Africa, the largest in the Middle East and the 15th largest in the world! Cairo is often associated with ancient Egypt where you can visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza. As well as these there are gorgeous historical sites such as the Islamic city, Old Cairo and the Egyptian Museum. Although firmly attached to the past, Cairo is also home to a vibrant and modern society with some areas being described as “Paris on the Nile” built in the 19th Century. An ideal place to base yourself at the beginning and end of your Egypt holiday.
Aswan
Heading south along the River Nile beyond Luxor, lies the smaller city of Aswan. Here, the river is wide, slow and beautiful surrounded by colourful local villages that feature the traditional lives of the Nubians. A quiet and beautiful area is the perfect place to stay in Egypt for your cultural and scenic views fix.
Luxor
Luxor continues to have an ancient feel and look, located in the Southern Nile Valley otherwise known as the “Land of the Pharaohs” and the “worlds greatest open-air museum”. Here you will find ruins of temple complexes connected by an avenue of sphinxes over one and a half miles long all standing within a modern city.

On the West Bank of the Nile, most of the ruins and tombs still remain, including the Valley of the Kings, which contains the famous Tomb of Tutankhamen and the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Nearby, a number of ancient temples and Theban necropolis are located: the Temple of Medinat Habu, Colossi of Memnon, the Ramesseum, Valley of the Queens and Valley of the Nobles. Alexandria
Alexandria was one of the most important metropolis of the ancient world and highly influenced by the ancient Greeks. This significant city was home of the famous lighthouse of Alexandria (Pharos), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World; the Great Library (the largest in the ancient world); and the Necropolis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.
Esna
Esna Temple, or, also known as Temple of Khnum, is dedicated to the god Khnum, his consorts Menhit and Nebtu, their son, Heka, and the goddess Neith. Well known for its remarkable beauty and the magnificence of its architecture.
Edfu
Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon God, is one of the best-preserved temples of the Greco Roman era and the two beautiful granite statues of the falcon god Horus towering over the entrance as you walk in.
Kom Ombo
Temple of Kom Ombo. The unusual Kom Ombo temple has two identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries. Explore the exceptional beautiful temple of Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (Crocodile God). The temple was built with two symmetric entrances, halls, and sanctuaries; it is the only double temple all over Egypt.
Abu Simbel
The main attraction is the great sun temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari. Both temples were discovered in 1813 it was almost completely covered with sand. Then both temples were moved in 1960 by the help of Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. Ramses II built the temple mostly to honour himself as inside there is a mural depicting his famous victory at Kadesh battle where his army defeated his enemies. On the north of Ramses temple, the Nefertari Temple which was built by Ramses II to his favourite wife Queen Nefertari among other 200 wives and concubines.
Gebel Silsela
Here lies the old Pharaonic quarries of Silsela and the off-the-path rock-cut Temple of Hormoheb.
Abydos
The ancient Egyptian believed of God (Lord of the underworld) to be buried here. The temple was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II, known as the temple of Seti I.The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt.
Dendera
Temple of Hathor is situated here- goddess of love and joy.
