Who on earth are Fleewinter, and why should you trust them?
Fleewinter is an independent tour operator that offers fantastic holidays, put together by people who truly care, & at great prices.
But I, the author, would say that right – I clearly work for Fleewinter.
So, why should you trust us with something as important as your holiday?
Especially when – as someone on TripAdvisor points out – we can’t be found at the mega trade shows, and we seem to all be working from a single home address…
Well, our model is based on putting together fantastic, personalised trips, while diligently maintaining low business costs.
That’s why we don’t have a paid-for office address or indeed any physical offices at all: because at the crux of it, it keeps the price of your holiday seriously competitive.
However… good value doesn’t mean corners are cut.
We’re ATOL and ABTA protected, for peace of mind and our clients financial security. Both those accreditations come with miles of red tape, so we’re incredibly careful with our admin as well as when booking actual holidays.
Why can’t you find us at trade shows?
We only really attend small boutique travel shows, because the big-name trade shows and associated costs (flyers, brochures, pitch hire, decorations – you name it) directly translate into more expensive holidays for our clients: and that simply isn’t part of our business model.
If you want to stay at 5* hotels without paying a vastly increased price, then you should book with Fleewinter.
Who are this alleged team?
Fleewinter are a close-knit team of 20, dotted around the world – you can read up on all of us here (scroll to the bottom of the page!)
Each member of the team is a specialist in a few destinations; and our requirements for set-up are that the individual in question has spent considerable time exploring each country, carefully inspecting hotels and doing some intense research, so that the advice we give our loyal clients is genuine and personal, based on real experience.
The team are also all co-owners of the business, so the success and health of the company is at the forefront of every decision.

Because we’re UK based, we are proud to be members of the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) which is sort of the TripAdvisor for our specific industry.

Reviews posted on the AITO site are given freely, it’s one of the requirements of our membership that each and every client is given the opportunity to say exactly what they think of their experience with us. We’re pretty proud to have won the silver award for Tour Operator of the Year in 2023 – purely based on our feedback.

Why don’t you just book directly?
Booking your holidays directly is always going to be available: you certainly don’t have to use a tour operator.
