Can Fleewinter really know that much about each destination?
At the time of writing, Fleewinter is about to launch another 3 destinations, bringing the total number of countries we send clients to up to a fabulous 65 (ish, give or take. Sometimes we stop selling destination for a little while…)
Now we claim we’re experts in each and every one of these.
But how can Fleewinter really know *that* much about each destination?
Surely that requires a vast amount of knowledge.
Years of research. Months and months of searching for legit, authentic places to stay, experiences, hosts, guides, partners – and maintaining those relationships over time…
That’s correct.
Fleewinter’s expertise is in its people (this article mentions 13… we’re almost double that now!)
Our confidence stems from the 23 travel consultants who have spent the last 20 years finessing their knowledge of each destination linked in our navigation bar (and some more behind the scenes!) and now work with us.
They’ve been there. They’ve seen it. They’ve done the tours and eaten the food and visited the monuments and experienced their destination to the fullest.
All of that, to make sure that what we offer to you is the perfect holiday.
It’s taken a long time: Fleewinter started with one specialist (Alisdair!) a love of Cape Town, frustration with a niche not met, and a whole lot of determination.
From small beginnings, like our wanderlust, we grew.
More people joined us. More destinations were added. More hotels were inspected. More partnerships were made.
One destination became 3, 4, 7, 15, 20, and suddenly, over 60.
Today, Fleewinter is a vibrant team of more than 20 travel enthusiasts.
It’s our greatest joy and privilege to send our clients to the places we’ve visited, fallen in love with, and decided to include on our list.
The team at Fleewinter are your eyes and ears in a country long before you started thinking about visiting. It’s out job – and our obsession – to know all there is about visiting a new country.
Your holiday is incredibly important to us.
