Journey starts at approx. at 08:30hrs with pick up from your hotel in South Bali by our guide. Transfer to Tunjuk village in Tabanan regency for a visit to a local elementary school. Next you will visit a Balinese house to experience the daily activities . This is followed by a walk to Bali’s famed rice fields, guided by the farmers. Armed with a farmer’s hat and a stick you learn how to plough, plant, transplant and harvest rice. After your lesson, walk along the rice field to a coconut plantation and watch a farmer demonstrates his skill in climbing up a coconut tree to gather young coconuts for refreshment. You can test your skill in climbing one of the trees too! The field’s hard work is rewarded with a cassava based appetizer before enjoying a traditional lunch. Return to your hotel after lunch, with a final stop at the Taman Ayun Royal Temple in Mengwi.
