Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Bienvenidos!

Welcome to the ‘Paris of Latin America’. Upon arrival at Buenos Aires’ Ezeiza Airport, you will be greeted by one of our English speaking guides who will privately escort you to the Carles hotel, a boutique accommodation centrally located in the Retiro neighbourhood and where you will stay in an executive room.

The rest of the day if free.

Casa Rosada Buenos Aires

Day 2 - Private city tour

You will be collected from your hotel for your three-hour morning tour visiting the most important highlights of the city of Buenos Aires. Discover the history of the Plaza de Mayo Square, wonder in awe at the oldest residential neighbourhood in Buenos Aires: San Telmo, live the original Tango in the neighbourhood of La Boca: walk along Caminito Street and enjoy watching the dancers. Finally, contemplate the modernisation of the city whilst traveling along Puerto Madero and its exclusive docks, full of excellent restaurants and luxury hotels. At night, tango show with dinner.

Day 3 - Private wine tasting and food pairing in a local home

Small production wines, homemade local dishes – shared around the table in a Porteno’s home. They source the wines from small producers from across Argentina and the tasting starts in the arid north then moves down to the cool plains of Patagonia, then up again to the famous vineyards of Mendoza.

You will taste four wines and each will be paired with homemade traditional tapas. The tastings are held in a local’s home in the leafy neighbourhood of Villa Devoto.

Return transfers are not included but ask us if you wish to add them.

Day 4 - On the way to the origins of Malbec

Today, you will be privately transferred to the airport for your flight to Mendoza, at the foothills of the Andes mountains. The region around it is where the best Malbec in the world comes from.

Private transfer to your hotel in the wine producing valleys is included and accommodation is at the gorgeous Entre Cielos hotel in a classic room for three nights with daily breakfast.

Mendoza vineyards

Day 5 - Valle de Uco wineries tour

The Uco Valley is a wonderful wine growing region – big blue skies over endless vineyards, all framed by the mighty Andes mountains – and the scenery prepares the senses for the distinctive flavours and aromas of the high altitude wines produced here.

The wineries visited are subject to change, chosen according to availability and suitabilty for you from Salentein, Domaine Bousquet, Andeluna, Corazon del Sol, Enzo Bianchi and la Azul.  You will have a private driver and guide for the day, with small group winery visits.

Day 6 - Free day

Today is free to spend as you wish. You can relax and enjoy the facilities and surroundings of your hotel.

We can add other activities, like a bike ride through the vineyards or hiking trips to the Andes, in particular Aconcagua mountain. Just ask us!

Day 7 - Ready for the north west?

Today, you will be privately transferred to the airport for your flight to Salta, capital of Argentina’s north west. Once landed a private car will drive you south to Cafayate, where there is an interesting production of wines.

Here you will spend one night at Patios de Cafayate in a Gallery room with breakfast. The rest of the day is free.

Day 8 - Calchaqui valley and Bodega Colomé

A private car will drive you to Molinos and the Bodega Colomé, Argentina’s oldest winery. It is also one of the highest vineyards in the world and was founded in 1831.

Bodega Colomé has been pioneering the potential of high altitude vines for more than 180 years. Nestled at four different altitudes ranging from 2,300 to 3,111 metres above sea level, their four vineyards are at one with both the earth and the sky among the beautiful Calchaquí Valleys. In 2019, Bodega Colomé was named one of the top 25 vineyards in the World’s Best Vineyards Award.

You will spend one night at the Bodega in a Junior Suite with half board.

Day 9 - Hola Salta la Linda

Today, you will be privately driven to Salta for the last leg of your journey. You will drive to the amazing landscapes of the north west once again and once arrived we are suggesting one night at the elegant Legado Mitico boutique hotel in a classic room with breakfast.

Day 10 - Adios Argentina

Today, you will be privately transferred to Salta Airport for your flight back home via Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires
In Buenos Aires, Argentina's cosmopolitan capital, you'll find graceful plazas, tango shows, melancholic melodies, historic buildings reflecting European grandeur, trendy bars, nightlife every night of the week, steak dinners, an emerging art scene and a Latin flair.
There is so much to do and see that you could spend weeks in "the Paris of South America" but to catch the highlights, we recommend at least 3 days in this exciting city.
Las Cataratas de Iguazú
The spectacular Iguazu Falls are located within the Iguazu Falls National Park on the Northern border of the Province of Misiones. This series of 275 waterfalls is at the heart of the Paranaense Rainforest, where the Argentine, Brazil and Paraguay borders meet, and where the cities of Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) face each other.
We recommend at least 2 nights in Puerto Iguazu so you can visit both sides of the falls. They are very different and both are jaw-dropping.
Parque Nacional Los Glaciares
Perito Moreno is one of the highlights of Argentina. This vast glacier is located in the Parque Nacional Las Glaciares, close to the town of El Calafate. Whether you watch its huge ice blocks collapsing into the lake from the viewing platform or take a hiking tour on the glacier itself finishing at the only bar in the world where the ice is older than the whiskey, the glacier's scale and shades of white and blue will leave you speechless.
We recommend at least 2-3 nights in El Calafate, the gateway to the National Park.
Mendoza
Mendoza is famous for its Malbec wine and vineyards in a spectacular setting, but there is so much more to enjoy. From white water rafting, fly fishing for trout, horseback riding in the Andes at sunrise, biking through the vineyards, to climbing Mt. Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America, there are plenty of ways to experience this region. We recommend at least 3 nights in Mendoza.
Salta "La Linda"
Set at the foothills of the Andes mountain range, Salta is at an elevation of 1,152m. The city's architecture is spectacular and you can see the influences from bordering Bolivia, Paraguay and Chile. While it's worth spending at least one or two nights in Salta, build in time for the surrounding area. Take a day tour to El Cafayate and marvel at the unique mountain formations and desert colours on the way, or an overnight tour to Cachi in the Calchaquí Valley, known for its adobe houses and white colonial buildings, surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Peninsula de Valdes
The Peninsula de Valdes, a nature reserve in Northern Patagonia, is best known for whales, sea lions and elephant seals. Probably the largest draw are the Southern Right Whales (Ballena Austral) that come to take shelter in the natural bays of the peninsula between June and November. We recommend spending at least two to three nights in Puerto Madryn, the gateway to the peninsula.
Bariloche and the Lake District
San Carlos de Bariloche, simply known as Bariloche, is situated in the foothills of the Andes and is Argentina's most popular destination for skiing and hiking. Its ever-present views of the glacial lake Nahuel Huapi are spectacular, but the area is also a foodie hub, well known for its traditional asados (BBQs), choloatiers and micro breweries.
Ushuaia
Ushuaia is the capital of the Tierra del Fuego area in the southernmost tip of South America, often nicknamed the “End of the World.” Nestled between snow-capped Andean mountains and the shores of the Beagle Channel, it is an adventure hub where guests can visit national parks, kayak and hike, crab fish, visit penguins or explore old shipwrecks. In the winter, you'll find the world's southernmost ski resort, Cerro Castor.

Your adventure starts here!
