Amidst the vineyards of the winery El Esteco and with the breathtaking Calchaquí Valleys in the background, the original farmstead of this estate founded in 1892 is today the soul of this unique 32-rooms country hotel.
The Rooms
All of the spacious guest rooms feature antique furniture, ceramic floors and artisan carpets. The rooms all have air conditioning and cable TV, and offer views of the mountains or landscaped gardens.
There are four room categories at Patios de Cafayate:
The Gallery Rooms 34sqm) overlook the jasmines patio and come with a double bed or two singles. Every room is unique, featuring Northern Argentinian antiques. All rooms have a bathtub.
The Garden Rooms (20sqm) overlook the gardens and the hills and they have a double bed or two singles. They also boast a spacious dressing room and a large bathroom with bath.
The Colonial Rooms (40sqm) boast spectacular views of the hills, a dressing room, a spacious bathroom with bath and a comfortable double bed or two singles. Each room has a different color and a particular decor, while they keep the style and essence of Patios de Cafayate.
The Suites (60sqm) offer wviews of the vineyards and the hills or the private original patio. One of them, the colonial suite, also has a fireplace and its walls are made of vintage original adobe. All of the Suites have a living room, a dressing room, jacuzzi and a double bed or two singles.
The Facilities
In the neatly kept gardens, guests will find a large pool (with towel service) surrounded by arbors bulging with grapes.
Every afternoon, guests can enjoy a courtesy glass of sparkling wine.
