Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to St Lucia
Land at the international airport where you will be met by your driver and transferred to Fond Doux Eco Resort 45 minutes away. Settle in, relax and unwind after your flight, have a dip in the cascading pools and if you’re feeling adventurous perhaps explore a little of this 135 acre working cocoa estate.
Day 2 - Relax, Rainforest Trail or Sugar Beach
Just relax and enjoy the property and maybe wander alone along one of the trails that run through the plantation or go for a plantation tour. Take the complimentary shuttle down to Sugar beach one of St Lucia’s most desirable beaches.
Day 3 - Fishing Villages and Volcano
Time to visit the Eighth Wonder of the World!
Enjoy a volcano highlight tour travel through the quaint fishing villages of Anse La Raye and Castries on to the banana plantations. You’ll arrive in Soufrière (the old capital of Saint Lucia) and visit the world-famous Sulphur Springs “drive-in- volcano.” This St. Lucia drive-through volcano tour is an excursion that you won’t want to miss.
Day 4 - Journey to the North Western Beaches
You will be whisked away to the beaches on the North West of the island to spend 7 blissful days taking in those turquoise waters and beautiful white and black sand beaches. Do as little as you want or as much as you want!
Day 5 - Cruise Down the Majestic West Coast
Why not go for a fantastic Discovery cruise down the beautiful west coast of the island (the best way to view the Pitons) and the entire coastline. Stop for a bit of snorkelling and for some lunch and then return as the sun sets looking out for that infamous ‘green flash’.
Day 6 - Relax and Enjoy the Hotel Facilities
Sunbathe in a hammock skimming the ocean surface in the bay, opt for a massage or spa treatment and enjoy some drinks by the pool or sundowners on the beach.
Day 7 - Beaches & Snorkelling or Diving
Explore the North Western Beaches including Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin (which you can only access from another bay) and snorkel at the Anse Chastanet Marine Reserve.
Day 8 - Northern Historical Tour
Today you could drive through some local communities and experience rural life. Visit the Vigie Lighthouse for a bird’s eye view of Port Castries and Pigeon Island for a guided tour of the island’s most historic landmark. Climb the twin peaks to Fort Rodney, a military lookout with great view across the Caribbean Sea.
Day 9 - Simply Soak up The Sun
Relax at your hotel or on the beach and in the evening, descend on Gros Islet for the weekly ‘Jump up’ street party and fish fry. Alternatively, you could visit the smaller/quieter Anse La Raye while staying at Fond Doux.
Day 10 - Cultural Tour or a Spot of Shopping
You could choose to go for a Bean to Bar experience and make your own chocolate bar, a rum tasting tour, Cook like a Lucian or a Cultural/Heritage tour
Day 11 - Transfer to the airport and fly home
Today, depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport to fly home with some lovely memories of beautiful St Lucia!
