Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Bienvenidos a Buenos Aires!

Welcome to Buenos Aires and Argentina! Upon arrival at Ezeiza Airport, you will be greeted by one of our English speaking guides who will privately escort you to the lovely Mine hotel in one of our favourite neighbourhoods of the city, Palermo Soho. You will spend 3 nights in a classic room with daily breakfast.

We have nothing planned for the rest of the day so you can get accustomed to your new surroundings.

Day 2 - Private city tour and free afternoon

Enjoy a morning tour of the capital’s highlights (or if you prefer, you can take this tour in the afternoon). Spend 5 hours with a private car and an English speaking guide discovering the history and highlights of the city.

This is not a historical tour, but more an overview of Buenos Aires’s main areas and neighbourhoods so it is perfect for giving you and idea of the places so that you can go back in your own time if you wish.

Day 3 - Free day

We haven’t planned anything for today.

This is your relaxing holiday so you can spend your time as you wish. However, do have a chat with us if you wish to add an evening tango show, a visit to nearby Tigre or any particular interest activity.

Day 4 - Private transfer to La Bandada Estancia

This morning you will be driven to the pampas outside Buenos Aires. The pampa is a green lung that seems to extend to infinity. A huge plain stretching out from Buenos Aires, ideal land for livestock and crops.

You will spend two nights relaxing at La Bandada in a standard room with full board. The estancia has only 5 rooms and pleasant, large spaces that invite you to rest. You can participate in some of the activities and you must try the homemade dulce de leche and empanadas!

Day 5 - Free day

Enjoy the surroundings of the estancia. Walk around the estate, plunge in the pool or simply read a book in common areas.

Day 6 - Return to Buenos Aires and flight to Rio

A private car will drive to Buenos Aires airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro.

Bemvindos no Brasil! One of the most iconic cities in the world, Rio will captivate you with the beauty of its setting.

You will spend 3 nights at Arena Ipanema hotel in a standard room with breakfast. Perfectly located near Arpoador, do not miss the beautiful sunsets!

Day 7 - Private tour to Corcovado and Sugarloaf

Today will be full of everlasting memories as you visit two of the city’s, and arguably the world’s, most iconic sights. You will be taken on a full day guided tour of Corcovado Mountain where you will appreciate the magnificent Christ the Redeemer statue and the view of Rio and Guanabara Bay beneath you.

After you will be able to enjoy another stunning view of the city from Pão de Açúcar (Sugarloaf Mountain). You will take two cable cars to get to the hill’s top, and from here you will have a 360 degrees view of the entire city.

Day 8 - Free day

Today is free to spend as you wish. You can choose to make the most of the city’s beaches or if you feel like exploring, we can recommend visiting Santa Teresa.

This area is one of our favourites as we love the artists’ boutiques and small cafes and bars. And in the evening, if you fancy joining the Cariocas, go to a bar in Lapa.

Day 9 - Transfer to Buzios

A private car will pick you up at your hotel in Rio to drive you to Buzios.

Journey time can be between 3 and 4 hours, depending on traffic.

Buzios is an upmarket beach destination, where a lot of Cariocas have their second homes and go and spend the weekends. We have selected our favourite boutique hotel in Buzios, Vila da Santa, where you will stay for 4 nights in a junior room with breakfast.

Day 10 - Free day

Enjoy your free day.

Vila da Santa is right by Ossos beach, one of the most beautiful on the peninsula.

Day 11 - Free day

Another day to spend and relax.

You can take a taxi to explore other beaches like Da Ferradura or Joao Fernandes.

And in the evenings, stroll to town and have dinner or drinks in one of the many restaurants and bars.

Day 12 - Free day

Your last free day in Buzios.

If you fancy exploring, we can add a day trip to Arrajal do Cabo. This destination has less infrastructure for the international traveller but it is a real beauty. Praia Grande goes on for miles and it is the whitest sand and you can snorkel with sea turtles in Praia do Forno.

Day 13 - Departure

Time to say goodbye to Buzios and South America. So many days exploring but also switching off so you can go back home refreshed and full of memories.

A private car will drive to Rio de Janeiro’s airport for your flight back home.

Buenos Aires
In Buenos Aires, Argentina's cosmopolitan capital, you'll find graceful plazas, tango shows, melancholic melodies, historic buildings reflecting European grandeur, trendy bars, nightlife every night of the week, steak dinners, an emerging art scene and a Latin flair.
There is so much to do and see that you could spend weeks in "the Paris of South America" but to catch the highlights, we recommend at least 3 days in this exciting city.
Las Cataratas de Iguazú
The spectacular Iguazu Falls are located within the Iguazu Falls National Park on the Northern border of the Province of Misiones. This series of 275 waterfalls is at the heart of the Paranaense Rainforest, where the Argentine, Brazil and Paraguay borders meet, and where the cities of Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) face each other.
We recommend at least 2 nights in Puerto Iguazu so you can visit both sides of the falls. They are very different and both are jaw-dropping.
Parque Nacional Los Glaciares
Perito Moreno is one of the highlights of Argentina. This vast glacier is located in the Parque Nacional Las Glaciares, close to the town of El Calafate. Whether you watch its huge ice blocks collapsing into the lake from the viewing platform or take a hiking tour on the glacier itself finishing at the only bar in the world where the ice is older than the whiskey, the glacier's scale and shades of white and blue will leave you speechless.
We recommend at least 2-3 nights in El Calafate, the gateway to the National Park.
Mendoza
Mendoza is famous for its Malbec wine and vineyards in a spectacular setting, but there is so much more to enjoy. From white water rafting, fly fishing for trout, horseback riding in the Andes at sunrise, biking through the vineyards, to climbing Mt. Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America, there are plenty of ways to experience this region. We recommend at least 3 nights in Mendoza.
Salta "La Linda"
Set at the foothills of the Andes mountain range, Salta is at an elevation of 1,152m. The city's architecture is spectacular and you can see the influences from bordering Bolivia, Paraguay and Chile. While it's worth spending at least one or two nights in Salta, build in time for the surrounding area. Take a day tour to El Cafayate and marvel at the unique mountain formations and desert colours on the way, or an overnight tour to Cachi in the Calchaquí Valley, known for its adobe houses and white colonial buildings, surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Peninsula de Valdes
The Peninsula de Valdes, a nature reserve in Northern Patagonia, is best known for whales, sea lions and elephant seals. Probably the largest draw are the Southern Right Whales (Ballena Austral) that come to take shelter in the natural bays of the peninsula between June and November. We recommend spending at least two to three nights in Puerto Madryn, the gateway to the peninsula.
Bariloche and the Lake District
San Carlos de Bariloche, simply known as Bariloche, is situated in the foothills of the Andes and is Argentina's most popular destination for skiing and hiking. Its ever-present views of the glacial lake Nahuel Huapi are spectacular, but the area is also a foodie hub, well known for its traditional asados (BBQs), choloatiers and micro breweries.
Ushuaia
Ushuaia is the capital of the Tierra del Fuego area in the southernmost tip of South America, often nicknamed the “End of the World.” Nestled between snow-capped Andean mountains and the shores of the Beagle Channel, it is an adventure hub where guests can visit national parks, kayak and hike, crab fish, visit penguins or explore old shipwrecks. In the winter, you'll find the world's southernmost ski resort, Cerro Castor.
