A beautiful colonial with just a handful of rooms. Combined with a stay in Buenos Aires, is the perfect way of living a different side of the capital. One surrounded by beautiful countryside and history.

The Pampa: a green lung that seems to extend to infinity. A huge plain stretching out from Buenos Aires, ideal land for livestock and crops. In the mid 1800s the ranches - or estancias - begin to arrive, bringing fences and trees to break up the endless plains. The infinite landscape was transformed with agricultural production, but the traditions of country life remain. Those first trees planted in the early 1900s today are part of the landscape and offer their welcome shade on the summer afternoons. La Bandada allows guests to enjoy the Argentine countryside. When crossing the gate you already begin to enjoy the country air. Flocks of ducks cross the sky in their characteristic V-shaped formations, going from lagoon to lagoon. The main house is framed by a magnificent collection of trees, where immense bananas, poplars, pines and ginkgo-bilobas stand out, whose intense yellow colour flourishes in autumn. There is a wide variety of birds in the area, in fact they give the rooms their names.

The house is colonial style, simple elegance, with just five rooms. Pleasant, large spaces that invite you to rest and to read. Wide galleries keep the house cool, a perfect place to watch the afternoon pass or challenge yourself to the Creole game of the toad. Beyond, discreet in the large park, is the pool, recently renovated and ideal for swimming and cooling off. On horseback the pastures and the hacienda are crossed. La Bandada is renowned for the personalized service and warm attention. Country dishes arrive at the table. Traditional recipes, very tasty and with fresh ingredients that come from the garden. The guests can participate in the harvest together with the cook. The homemade dulce de leche and the juicy empanadas, which make everyone want to get the recipe, are not lacking at the La Bandada table.

The estancia is 120 km from the city of Buenos Aires, 90 km from Ezeiza airport and 10 km from San Miguel del Monte.
