Trogon House & Forest Spa offers an exquisite location and experience, suspended in the treetops of a private forest reserve that stretches untamed along the Tsitsikamma Mountains and beyond.
There are only 6 suites, divided between two different villas. Malabar Villa is the main part of the establishment, which comprises of:
1 x Master Suite
2 x Double Deluxe suites
These are connected to the villa on a wooden walkway through the forest.
Breakfast is served either on the pool deck overlooking the magnificent valley below or inside close to the fireplace on fresh winters mornings. There is an elegant lounge, with a fire place as well as a bar.
Tomba Villa, an exact replica of Malabar is connected to Malabar Villa by means of a wooden walkway meandering through the forest. It comprises of
1 x Master Suite
1 x Double Deluxe
1 x Twin Deluxe
There is also a large swimming pool and deck. \
Tomba Villa is also available for exclusive use and ideal for a family or group of friends wanting privacy with a luxurious touch.
Central to the wooden walkways linking the two villas is the Forest Boma – ideal for outdoor dining (on request) for a feeling of really being out in nature and you might even see a few fireflies!
Further along the walkway is the Forest Spa – this is a small luxury little offering a glass steam room, Jacuzzi and stone fireplace with plenty of candles. Various treatments can be arranged and can also be pre-booked for exclusive use.
Trogon House offers a special escape being elevated in the tree tops, using only natural materials, this unique lodge embraces the forest by means of glass walls and sky-lit roofs, inviting the forest inside and creating a true “nature forest" experience. Ideal for honeymooners and those looking for something different.
Whilst you are nestled in the forest, nearby you can enjoy a host of things to do in the area – from the sandy beaches of Plettenberg Bay, visit to Monkeyland & Birds of Eden or for the more adventurous you can bunjee jump off Storms River bridge!
