Casa Velha do Palheiro
Originally constructed in 1804 as a hunting lodge by the esteemed Conde de Carvalhal and then acquired by the Blandy family, whos name is synonymous with Madeira. Now a Relais & Châteaux Hotel, the names of Blandy and Palheiro are synonymous with quality on Madeira Island and beyond.

Relax in your home away from home. There is a selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments with either sea view or Funchal / Sea views. Need something larger, you can opt for one of the three bedroom villas, one of which has a private pool. And all of which are tastefully furnished to a very high standard.
