Offbeat Mara Camp is situated in a idyllic location in a serene environment along the Olare Orok River in the heart of Mara North Conservancy, a wildlife haven and arguably among the top game viewing areas in the Maasai Mara region.

This area is full of wildlife but has limited numbers of safari camps to ensure an unspoilt safari experience. Offbeat Mara Camp works with the local Maasai community and employs many in the camp staff. The camp is tucked into a grove of trees and comprises six large tents, all with en suite buckets showers, wash basin and flush loos. The tents are beautifully finished with cedar wood beds, lanterns and the finest linen.

Offbeat Mara can undoubtedly boast that it has some of the best wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara. Our pride of lion - the Offbeat Pride - are always within a short distance from the camp and can regularly be heard roaring in the Offbeat Valley. Combined with regular sightings of cheetah and leopard as well as the rest of the big and little game, there is little need to go elsewhere. Offbeat Mara has taken the traditional camping term and turned it into something rather special - fantastic guiding, a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and outstanding management will make you feel right at home.
