A beautiful boutique hotel in the UNESCO heritage listed town of Hoi An. La Siesta is a charming hotel - airy, bright and full of character.
Located on the edge of the town, La Siesta has free bicycle hire so it is easy to cycle the 5km to the beach, where the hotel has a private stretch of sun loungers with a bar and swimming pool.
The hotel has a restaurant that spills out onto the poolside, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is particularly good with plenty of healthy options available as well as a more traditional hot English breakfast.
There are two different wings in the Hotel and each offers a unique experience. The Classic Wing is the original building and it offers seven different types of rooms. Prices start with the Deluxe Window which is well appointed, with an en-suite and large window. The Balcony Deluxe Rooms are the same size but have a balcony with views over the town, rice paddies, garden or pool (it is worth asking for a pool view). There are also family rooms available with two double beds and a balcony, as well as some with a spacious living area.
The Club Wing is the new addition, that has a higher standard of luxury and encompasses a spa, saltwater pool and fine dining venue. It offers four different types of rooms. The Veranda Suite Pool View and the Junior Suite Balcony have around the same area, but the second has a balcony area. The Premium Terrace Suite is much larger and has an extensive balcony area. And the jewel of the crown: The Duplex Suite Balcony, a two-level design for separated and connected space, ideal for a family or a small group of friends. The lower level with master double bed or twin beds and chic vintage-style, freestanding bathtub. A wooden staircase leads to the upper rooftop master bedroom with king size bed, ensuite walk in shower and toilet. The lower floor opens onto a spacious balcony overlooking the pool and gardens.
La Siesta suites are tremendous value and well worth the upgrade!
The Classic wing has a good-sized outdoor fresh water swimming pool and it also has a good fitness centre and spa on site. The Club Wing offers exclusive facilities such as the saltwater pool and exclusive services such as Private check-in and check out, Complimentary minibar (replenished daily), Complimentary laundry or pressing service, Daily in-room fresh fruits and Late check-out.
For dining options there are three different options: Red Bean Restaurant (stunning local food), The Temple Restaurant (fine dining from around the globe) and Feliz Bar, the snacks and drinks bar by the Pool.
The hotel is just under 1km from the main town of Hoi An, which can easily be walked or cycled. It is about 5km from the beach of Cua Dai and takes about 40 minutes to get to the international airport in Da Nang.
