There are 12 guest rooms, each with their own sweeping views of the valley below, a fireplace and spacious private bathroom. Warm fabrics and earth-toned design highlight Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage. Underfloor heating means those cold Bhutanese nights don't feel so chilly and beautiful bathtubs are strategically placed for watching the mist roll through the valley.
Meals are enjoyed at the Main Lodge, either on the outdoor terrace or the cozy space warmed by two fireplaces. Private dining experiences can be arranged in the Woodshed and a cooking class can precede your private dinner.
A traditional hot stone bath with river stones and forest herbs is one of the lodge's most beloved offerings and if time allows, we highly recommend this. The nearby monastery is within walking distance and if you can tear yourself away from the comfort of the lodge and its breathtaking views, there are a few walks in the area.
The lodge was designed to leave minimal impact on the surrounding landscape. Local, recycled and eco-friendly materials were used in construction, the building designed for maximum energy efficiency, wastewater is recycled and food waste is composted.
