An on-site organic garden, panoramic views, and beautifully appointed rooms are the hallmarks of this luxurious hotel.
All rooms and suites feature a clean, peaceful aesthetic with accents of Bhutanese art and colour. Forest View rooms are comfortable for two with their forest views and location on the main floor near the lobby. A king or two single beds are available. The larger Valley View rooms have a small balcony and can accommodate an extra bed for a child.
Como Suites can comfortably sleep three with a lounge and dining area separate to the bedroom. For those who prefer to eat in the privacy of their suite, these are a beautiful option as the dining, wet bar, lounge, and study area are quite spacious. The free-standing One-Bedroom Villas might be our favourite rooms with their forest setting, large verandahs, treatment rooms, oversize bathrooms, and cosy wood ceilings. For families or friends travelling together, the Como Villa has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with twins. The private courtyard has a firepit while the treatment room opens to an al fresco hot stone bath. This is ultimate luxury with sweeping views of the Paro valley.
Meals can be enjoyed at Bukhari, where the nation's royal family can be spotted from time to time. The restaurant's menu changes seasonally and relies on the hotel's organic garden which is maintained with the help of local farmers.
The spa has two private hot stone bathhouses, an experience worth having at least once while in Bhutan. Yoga sessions are offered six days a week, archery lessons are available and equipment can be used by those with experience, and you can try your hand at darts - Bhutanese style!
