Located in the heart of the Colca Valley and on the banks of the River Colca, this property has an amazing and unique style built from adobe construction. It is the perfect base for exploring the area.
You are very isolated here so it is likely you will enjoy meals within the hotel if you are not out exploring. For this there is a fantastic restaurant as well as a bar room with a fireplace to relax around in the cool evenings.
All rooms have plenty of llama wool blankets (do not be afraid to ask for more if there is not enough as the canyon can get extremely cold at night). The lodge has no TV or other modern distractions, but it offers a wide range of activities such as horseback riding and small trekking routes, mountain biking, river rafting or visits to some of the pre-Inca ruins in the area.
On the banks of the river itself the lodge has its own thermal baths in stone pools which are fed by volcanic hot springs and were built in harmony with the environment, the perfect place to relax after exploring the canyon.
