Situated on South Africa’s famed Garden Route in the seaside town of Knysna, Belvidere Manor offers comfortable four-star accommodation, a range of delicious dining experiences, and breath-taking natural surroundings.

Belvidere Manor has 34 private Cape Dutch style cottages, all with private verandas overlooking the beautiful gardens. Each cottage has a comfortable living room, fully-equipped kitchen and either 1, 2 or 3 en-suite bedrooms. Some of the rooms come with an additional dining room or study room.

Belvidere has 2 onsite restaurants – Caroline’s Bistro and The Bell Tavern. Caroline’s Bistro offers an a la carte menu each evening and has beautiful lagoon views, or cosy indoor fireplaces for those chilly winter evenings. The Bell Tavern is Knysna’s smallest pub and serves light pub lunches, as well as a selection of beers and Cape Wines from lunchtime until late in the evening. Breakfast is served daily out on the terrace, overlooking the beautifully kept gardens.
The Barbeque
You can also experience a traditional South African “braai” or barbeque where popular South African favourites are enjoyed alongside local craft gin, beer or wine tastings.

Knysna and the surrounding coastal towns have an abundance of activities and offer something for everyone. From beautiful beach, lake, forest and mountain walks and a variety of animal sanctuaries to visit, as well as wild fauna, to adventure activities including horse riding, hiking, yachting, fishing and canoeing. Knysna is also a wonderful place to shop and restaurant hop, with the Knysna square market and the famous Knysna oysters and beer being firm favourites.

Belvidere Manor offers couples and families tranquil accommodation in one of the most popular South African destination. Speak to us about how to include a stay at Belvidere Manor in your South Africa holiday!
