Tucked down a lane in rural Battambang, this smart and spacious resort feels like a jungle retreat. Located about 2km from the town centre.
Surrounded by rice fields, local farmers can be seen going about their daily work and at night the area comes to life with the sound of crickets and frogs.
The resort has three types of rooms; the garden rooms, lake rooms and family rooms. The garden rooms are specious with an en-suite with a large shower and a private covered terrace, while the newer lake rooms are slightly larger and also have large bathrooms with big rain showers and private terraces.
The family rooms are twice as big as the garden rooms and have two bathrooms with a king size and twin beds. Two extra beds can also be put into this spacious room, which also has a terrace.
The resort has an outdoor salt water swimming pool and a lovely tropical restaurant on stilts which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as sunset drinks. The restaurant and bar closes at 10pm.
Free bikes are available for guests and there is a shuttle service to and from town twice a day. Battambang is about four hours by car from Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
