For the discerning traveller who is looking for a hassle-free experience, then a river cruise could be perfect for you! We offer a number of spectacular cruises, which visit fascinating old towns – treasure troves of Russian medieval art and national folklore. Each cruise itinerary includes meals, transfers, guided excursions and entertainment on board. Passengers are assisted on-board by multilingual guides.
Our most popular river cruise route is between Moscow and St Petersburg (via the impressive river Volga, a network of canals and two enormous lakes!), which offers an alternative way to experience these two diverse cities, as well as the interesting towns, villages, medieval monasteries and ancient churches along the way. We work with reliable vessels, which provide a comfortable means of exploring this unique side of Russia.
On this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the small villages and Golden Ring towns en route. Depending on the length of the cruise you opt for, you will either get a taster for this part of the region, or you can spend a little longer to learn more about this part of the country. It is possible to travel from Moscow to St Petersburg or vice versa.
We currently offer cruises between Moscow and St Petersburg (in varying duration), the Lena River Cruise (one of Russia Great Northern Rivers), and Moscow to Astrakhan (which is almost the entire length of the Volga river!). We have experiences to satisfy every type of traveller; the adventurer, culture vulture, history buff and nature lover. Exploring this part of the world out on the water, provides a unique perspective and the opportunity to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short space of time.
Why not, tack on a few extra days at either end of the cruise? We can combine your cruise with a tailor-made itinerary for you when you’re spending time on land, in the cities of Moscow and St Petersburg, and beyond, should your curiosity take you further afield!
