Experience this completely unique and fascinating capital city, on a short-break filled with mind-blowing history, culture and glamour. Our 5-day itinerary will showcase the city’s highlights, including the Kremlin, St Basil’s Cathedral, Armoury Chamber, Red Square, Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow Metro, Arbat street and Gorki Leninskie.

Moscow is unquestionably a city of contrasts; the stark soviet architecture, depicted by the Seven Sisters (a.k.a. ‘Stalin Skyscrapers’), against the capitalist extravagance and faded grandeur. The mixture of soviet and imperial influence, creates an intoxicating experience.

This short trip is packed with rich experiences and photo opportunities at every stop. The kaleidoscopic onion domes of Red Square and imposing Soviet buildings, make this a beguiling city to explore. Moscow’s metro system is a real highlight (and surprise!) for any visitor. Incredible marble walls, towering ceilings and dazzling chandeliers make any journey through Moscow, a destination in itself. The underground art-work includes bas-reliefs, friezes, marble and bronze statues, stained-glass windows and endless mosaics.
There is much to do in your free time too, as Moscow is cosmopolitan city with world-class bars and restaurants. For culture vultures, book tickets to the opera, ballet and exhibitions that city has to offer. It always fun to experience the glamorous side of the city too, with its glitzy department stores and luxury boutiques aplenty. The GUM department store in Red Square is an excellent place to window shop and also has an interesting soviet-style canteen on the top floor, if you would like a nostalgic dining experience.

An exciting plunge into the political, cultural and historical paradoxes of Moscow. A few days which promise to leave their mark for a lifetime!
