BuBu Long Beach has 36 hotel-style rooms. Deluxe Rooms have sea view or side-sea view balconies. Slightly larger Garden Rooms are all located on the ground floor and have quick access to the beach. These can sleep two adults and one child Deluxe Garden Rooms have two queen beds and can sleep four. Long Beach rooms are simply designed with comfort in mind. Honeymoon Seaview Rooms offer a king or queen bed, a sea-facing balcony, and distinctive furnishings creating a romantic beachside feel.

Located toward the southern end of Long Beach, BuBu Villas is a bit closer to restaurants, shops, and beach nightlife. At BuBu Villas, there are twenty free-standing villas. Garden and Beach Villas can sleep two while Family Villas can accommodate four. Beach Villas offer more privacy than Garden as these are nestled along a secluded stretch of beach. Both have king-sized beds high ceilings, and tropical wood furniture. Family Villas are set on the beach with a king bed and two single beds separated by a divide.

Santai Restaurant at Long Beach serves a range of Malaysian and international cuisine including fresh seafood. The World Café at BuBu Villas emphasizes Italian dishes with a healthy dose of local and Asian offerings. Both have lovely views of the South China Sea. If an air-conditioned supper appeals, Sho Dho offers a full Japanese menu including a variety of sakes. Located at BuBu Long Beach, there's also a terrace for al fresco dining.

Sunrise yoga sessions are held daily on the beach and beach massage facilities are in place at both sides of the property. Guided hiking trips, snorkeling, diving, sunset cruises, kayaking, and deep sea fishing can all be arranged.

BuBu Resort on Perhentian Kecil can be reached by 35-minute boat transfer from Kuala Besut. The port is approximately a 45-minute drive from the airport in Kota Bharu or 90-minute drive from Kuala Terengganu. There are no roads on the island, only walking trails and water taxis. A number of restaurants, bars, and shops are located at the south end of Long Beach.

Please note that due to monsoon season, the resort is often closed for part of the year. We recommend visiting the Perhentian islands March through October.
