In Guatemala City, the hotels are mainly located in Zone 10, also known as Zona Viva – the lively zone. True to its name, the zone hosts many gourmet restaurants, buzzing bars and gastronomic markets. It’s also one of the safest zones in Guatemala City.

We have hand-picked each hotel in Antigua for its quirky character, local style and fantastic central location. Most feature rooftop terraces so you can enjoy panoramic views of the terracotta tiled roofs below and the burned orange clouds sweeping past the volcano peaks at sunset.

Many of our suggested itineraries begin and end in the Central Highlands of Guatemala. All flights arrive into Guatemala City Airport and as Antigua is only an hour away, you can decide if you want to stay and explore the capital or if you are drawn more towards the charm of Antigua, we can arrange a transfer straight there from the airport.
