Paraty is a charming historic town that reflects the Brazilian colonial age. Pousada Literária occupies a fully restored colonial house and offers high quality service and comfortable accommodation. The inn also has a swimming pool in its central area, bar, dry sauna, massage room and shower room. In the library, guests have a selection of almost 3.000 titles of films and books to choose from. For guests’ comfort and convenience, the Inn also offers indoor parking. Guests can arrange diverse activities with the Inn, which will enrich their local knowledge, presenting them the surroundings and the natural attractions of Paraty. A spa is also available and provides guests with special treatments.

Flavours of contemporary cuisine combined with the local culture make up the restaurant Quintal das Letras menu. Prepared by chef Bertrand Materne, the creations have an emphasis on Paraty products and caiçara (typical) flavours. Breakfast can be served at any time of the day, giving guests real comfort and freedom.

The 23 rooms and suites are spacious, cosy and equipped with a king size bed, LCD TV with Sky channels, DVD, air-conditioning, safe, WiFi, minibar, collection of books and DVDs. The accommodations and suites are built around a tropical garden and a beautiful outdoor pool.
