Woodbury Lodge offers a secluded base from which to experience exciting Big 5 game viewing on Amakhala Game Reserve. Each chalet is stylishly furnished and has a private deck from which to view the wildlife at the nearby waterhole.
The main lodge area has a central dining area as well as an outdoor boma where you can enjoy the African night sky. Relax in the bar with a sundowner or curl up with a book in the lounge. You can also soak up the sun on the deck by the pool.
Woodbury Lodge welcomes couples and families of all ages. Whilst there is not a dedicated 'kiddies programme' baby sitters are available should you wish to have a romantic dinner or enjoy a game drive on your own.
Your stay at Woodbury Lodge includes all meals and 2 daily game drives. Experienced rangers will take you out on the big five Amakhala Game reserve where you can see cheetah, zebra, a variety of antelope and warthog to mention the most common. The birdlife is great and you will also see a number of smaller game. The Bushmans River runs through the reserve giving a diversity to offer a boat cruise or canoeing on the river.
Access to Woodbury Lodge is easy with daily flights from Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban to Port Elizabeth. From here you can take a road transfer or hire a car to drive to the lodge.
