The purpose-built Ventus Australis exploration vessel is the sister ship of the Stella and also ideal for discovering the fjords of Patagonia. We had one of the most amazing experiences onboard, visiting some of the most unexplored corners of Patagon
The ship has 100 cabins divided on several decks for a maximum passenger capacity of 210. All cabins are comfortable and you will have a small en-suite bathroom. All cabins have the same layout.
During the cruise you will have an all inclusive service with all your meals and also drinks and you will enjoy a couple of outings a day. You will have to get into zodiacs to land onto the shores of the fjords to explore stunning forests, glaciers, and go on amazing hikes.
In the evenings the crew will offer lectures about the ecosystems, geology and history of this remote part of South America. These are not compulsory but we found them very interesting and useful when we had the privilege of travelling on an Australis cruise.
It definitely was one of our life's highlights to travel on Australis from Argentina to Chile, and we cannot recommend it enough!
