Cabins
Each rustic extremely spacious chalet is appointed with a king-sized bed, high-end entertainment system, private deck, and outdoor rain showers, although the lagoon villas have an indoor shower. The cabins are divided into 4 catergories. The Lagoon cabins are 680 sq ft, have a private deck, overlook the lagoon and indoor rain-shower. The Jungle Cabins are 820 sq ft, with vaulted ceilings, an outdoor rain-shower and private deck The Beach Cabins are 892 sq ft, with vaulted ceilings, thatched roofs, an outdoor and indoor rain-shower and private deck with path leading to Jungle Beach guest's private stretch of beach. Jungle Cluster Villas consist of 3 villas clustered around a central private pool.
Facilities include a jungle pool, luxurious spa, fully-equipped gym and open-fronted restaurant.
Restaurant
The menu at Jungle Beach features contemporary international fare fused with asian flavours. Jungle Beach offers a diverse range of dining experiences including authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, locally sourced seafood and healthy natural ingredients. Th restaurant is set amidst thick jungle, overlooking the pool and benefits from an ocean breeze. Signature dining experience on the beach under the stars and up in the trees. Jungle Beach is the only hotel in Trincomalee to offer these signature or destination dining experiences.
Resort activities include a cookery experience, nature and village cycle trails and kite-making. Suggested excursions in the nearby area: snorkelling at Pigeon Island Marine National Park, whale & dolphin watching, fishing (mangroves and ocean) and a Trinco City Tour. This tour explores the historic harbour city with visits to the Koneswaram Temple, Lover’s Leap, Fort Frederick, the war cemetery, and the hot spring wells of Kanniya.
