The Turbine is a unique 5-star boutique hotel located on Thesen Island in Knysna and surrounded by water on 3 sides.
There are 24 individually themed rooms, all with en-suite facilities, air conditioning, stocked mini bar, tea/coffee station, flat screen television with DVD player & library and a writing desk. Guests can choose between the spacious Standard or Luxury rooms, or the Honeymoon Suite with its lounge and entertainment area. Some of the luxury rooms have a sleeper couch, ideal for families with a child.
There are two restaurants as well as three pubs located around the hotel with their own unique set up. The Turbine Water Club offers al fresco dining from the deli, oysters from the champagne bar and a wide variety of activities on both land and the Knysna lagoon. There is also a pool to cool off after a day of sightseeing or you can indulge in a spa treatment.
