The main lodge areas include a lounge, library, dining area and deck overlooking the open plains with uninterrupted views. There is also an outside boma where you can enjoy intimate dinners under the African skies. Relax and soak up the African sun whilst lounging at the pool or watch the prolific variety of birdlife from the Lodge. Binoculars and a telescope are available for your use.

The Welgevonden Game Reserve share a contiguous border with the Marakele National Park offering a total conservancy of 1110 000 hectares and forms part of the Waterberg Biosphere proclaimed by UNESCO and also a Natural Heritage Site. The varied and beautiful landscape offers some of Africa's most beautiful scenery.
There is a diversity of free roaming animals from the big five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) as well as plains antelope, giraffe, zebra and over 250 bird species. The reserve is also home to smaller predators like jackal and a range of indigenous plantlife.
