Glamp in Torres del Paine in style! All the comforts, great service and exploration programs in one of the park’s most unique accommodation offerings.
Patagonia Camp’s staff is mostly local thus ensuring that you experience a unique cultural exchange of learning and understanding the local customs and traditions of Patagonia. Most of the decorations, crafts and souvenirs have been created by local artisans and small local businesses as Patagonia Camp believes this is fundamental in the promotion of local culture.
Patagonia Camp enjoys a fantastic location in Torres del Paine and it is set in a 34,000 hectare private reserve that is home to native Coigüe evergreen forests, ancient “Nothofagus” plants like “Lenga” and “Notros” that bloom in Spring. The yurts are scattered along the shores of Lake Toro, the largest lake in the Magallanes region of Chile with incredible views of the Macizo del Paine.
The accommodation and communal areas are made up of yurts, typical Mongolian nomads’ construction, and although extremely environmentally friendly, they still manage to offer all comforts and luxury surroundings. You will find a restaurant, a bar and lounge, a souvenir shop. The restaurant is a warm and inviting space that features large windows overlooking the majestic Paine Massif so that you can admire the stunning views whilst enjoying three delicious meals per day. Patagonia Camp has access to some of the region’s freshest and most delicious offerings. You will find salmon, southern hake, king crab and lamb along with fresh vegetables from our local gardens.
There are 20 accommodation yurts, adapted so that you will find all the comforts of a hotel room like central heating, en-suite bathrooms with amenities and a comfortable interior décor with handmade furniture and textiles. All of the Yurts have a circular dome in the centre of the tent which was originally used by Mongolian nomads as a chimney and here you can use to enjoy sleeping under the stars of Patagonia! All yurts are connected by wooden walkways that weave through the native Patagonian Coigue, Lenga and Notros forests that surround the site. All yurts feature impressive views of Lake Toro and the famous Cuernos del Paine and have a terrace. There are four categories and the main difference is the size and the addition of an outdoor jacuzzi. There are a number of family yurts featuring 2 bedrooms.
