Once a royal home, this charming boutique hotel offers excellent service in a lush garden setting with easy access to the old town of Luang Prabang.
Garden Wing rooms are set a short walk from the main building, each with a spacious balcony and a king or twin beds. Although an extra bed can be added for one child, these rooms are ideal for two and interconnecting rooms are available. Decorated with local textiles and rich colours, the rooms have an elegant, timeless feel with all the contemporary touches and conveniences one needs.
In the original main house, once the home of a prince, are four heritage rooms, each with its own history and character. All have king beds and two are set in such a way that a family can pass semi-privately between the rooms. The Champa and Laos Suites are similar in size with the latter a bit larger thanks to its walk-in closet and spacious en-suite complete with a large bathtub. In both rooms, one or two extra beds can be arranged. The Maison Suite was once the Prince's room so a stay here is truly a royal experience. The incredibly large room has a generous balcony and ample seating space both indoors and out.
Elephant Blanc offers outdoor dining with a Lao-focused menu and a variety of Western dishes. A lovely spot for breakfast, many guests choose to eat in town although the Laos set menu available at dinner time is a great way to experience Laos cuisine.
Bicycles are available for guest use making it easy to explore Luang Prabang. The swimming pool is surrounded by lush greenery making it a peaceful spot to return to after a day of touring or sightseeing.
